Homemade Oil For Dry Hair

There are many reasons of having dry hair, either your scalp may be dry and may not
produce sufficient amount of sebum or may be its because of heredity. Dry hair is usually dull and it looks the same after you wash it as it did before. Usually sometime we have bad hair day, but with dry hair you may have those days more often. It can result from external factors also, such as exposure to harsh chemicals, pollution etc.
Dry hair lacks luster, are brittle and often looks unhealthy. There are few things which one should keep in his / her mind for dry hair -

DO'S AND DO NOT'S :-

  • Avoid usage of hair chemicals as much as you can.
  • Get a hot oil head massage at least once a week leave it for over night. If you van make your own herbal oil its better.
  • Use a mild shampoo and a separate hair conditioner. Apply the conditioner on the tip of the hair avoiding scalp. Leave it for 10 to 15 minutes.
  • Shampoo once or twice a week better if you made your own shampoo and conditioner as its going to be chemical free.
  • Don't wash your hair in hot water, it increases dryness of scalp. Use normal water or lukewarm water.
  • Trim your hair om a regular basis if  they are too dry to rejuvenate your hair.

HAIR OIL  :-

             5 tbsp Indian gooseberry powder
             3 tbsp fenugreek seeds powder
             2 tbsp rose petals
             100 ml olive oil

  • Take 2 glass of water, add all the above herbs in it.
  • Keep on low flame, don't forget to stir it regularly.
  • Continue stirring till it is reduced to 1 glass of water.
  • Now filter it by using filter cloth.
  • Add this liquid to olive oil.
  • Again keep it on low flame.
  • Continue stir till all water evaporates.
  • Let it cool down again filter it by using filter cloth.
  • Keep it in a air tight container for further use.

Get hair oil massage with this oil at least once a week. It will nourish you hair and will improve your hair quality.
