Lice

Lice infestation on the human body is very common especially on hair, and they feast on extremely small amounts of blood drawn from the scalp. Although they may sound gross, they are a very
common problem, especially for kids ages 3 to 15 years. Lice infestation is generally an itchy and embarrassing experience than a serious medical problem. They do not jump or fly from one host to other host. They can do not transfer via animals but may be transferred by person to person by direct contact or may transfer by using caps, combs, sheets of the infected person.
Lice eggs called as nits. They look like tiny yellow, brown or tan dots before they hatch. Lice lay nits on hair shafts close to the scalp, because the temperature of this place is perfect for keeping them warm until they hatch. Nits look alike dandruff but only the difference between them is that nits can not be removed by brushing or shaking them off.
Until the infestation is heavy, it is more common to see nits in a child's hair than it is to see live lice crawling on the scalp. Usually lice eggs hatch with in 1 to 2 weeks time after they are laid. After hatching, the remaining shell looks white or clear but still continues to stick firmly to the hair shaft. They are easily spotted in this stage. As the hair continues to grow longer, the egg shell is moves further away from the scalp.

Treatment For Lice :-

    INGREDIENTS -

1 tablespoon Indian lilac (neem) leaves oil
                         1/4th tablespoon eucalyptus oil
                         1/2th tablespoon tea tree oil
                         10 drops lemon oil
                         3 tablespoon mustard oil

     PROCEDURE -
  • Mix all the above oil together properly.
  • Apply this oil only on scalp.
  • Leave it over night then next morning rinse with shampoo
  • Repeat this procedure for 7 days.
